Questions
Things fitters ask us
Do I need signal on site?
No. You can measure, quote, take photos and update jobs with no signal. It all saves on your phone and uploads when you’re back in range.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It’s made for phones first, and works on a tablet or computer too. You can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
Which floors does it do?
Carpet, LVT, laminate, vinyl and wood, including stairs. Carpet gets roll and join maths; hard floors get pack and waste maths.
Do my customers need to sign up?
No. They get a link by email (or you send it on WhatsApp). They open it on their phone to see the quote, accept it and pay.
How do customers pay me?
By bank transfer to your account, with your details shown on the invoice, or by card if you connect Stripe. Stripe charges its own fees for card payments; bank transfer costs nothing.
Can it do VAT?
Yes. Turn VAT on or off and set your rate. Quotes and invoices show the VAT properly, and you can add your VAT number.
Is it hard to switch over?
No. Add your products and fitting rates as you go, or bring them in from a spreadsheet when you set up. You don’t need to move old jobs across to start.
What happens when the trial ends?
Pick a plan and add a card to carry on. If you don’t, nothing is deleted: you can still look at your work, you just can’t add new jobs until you subscribe.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from Settings. There’s no contract. The trial doesn’t need a card, so there’s nothing to cancel if you decide it’s not for you.
