What is flooring measuring app?
A flooring measuring app records room and stair measurements on site and turns them into material quantities. PlanCutFit’s estimator app lets you draw rooms to size, add stairs and doors, keep survey notes, photos and a checklist, and send a quote from the same measurements, with or without signal.
Plans start at £49 a month, with a free trial and no card needed. See pricing

- Wall-by-wall for odd rooms
- Stairs with landings and winders

A survey checklist, not a scrap of paper
Each visit has a checklist, site notes and photos tagged before, during, after or measuring, so the office and the fitter know what you found.
- Checklist per visit
- Notes save as you type
- Photos save without signal

Take-off straight from the survey
The rooms you measured give the materials, waste and price, so the quote can go out before you’re back in the van.

Questions
Flooring measuring app: questions people ask
Is it on the App Store or Google Play?
No. You install it from your phone’s browser in a few taps (Add to Home Screen). It then opens full screen from your home screen like any other app, works offline and gets job alerts. It works on iPhone and Android, tablets and computers.
Does it work with no signal?
Yes. Measuring, quoting, photos and job updates all work offline and save on your phone. Everything uploads when you’re back in range, and it shows you if anything is still waiting.
Can I measure rooms with alcoves and bays?
Yes. Use an L, T or U shape, draw the room wall by wall, or cut a corner out for a chimney breast or cupboard.
How much does it cost?
Plans start at £49 a month for a sole trader and £199 a month for a shop with a team, with a 7-day free trial and no card needed. Card payments from customers go through Stripe, so Stripe’s fees apply; bank transfers are free.
