What is flooring business software?

Flooring business software runs a flooring company’s jobs from enquiry to payment. PlanCutFit keeps every step on the same job: log the enquiry, measure and quote on site, take the deposit online, order the materials from the cut plan, book the fitting on the calendar, send the job to the fitter’s app, and invoice and chase the balance.

Plans start at £49 a month, with a free trial and no card needed. See pricing

How it works

How flooring business software works in PlanCutFit

  1. 1

    Enquiry

Phone, website or Checkatrade, logged with a call-back date.

  2. 2

    Survey and quote

Measured on site and quoted before you leave.

  3. 3

    Deposit and materials

Paid online, then the order goes to the supplier.

  4. 4

    Fit and invoice

Booked, fitted, signed off and the balance chased.

Enquiries and call-backs

Every call and web enquiry in one list, with who to ring back today. Win one and it becomes a job without re-typing anything.

  • Call-back list for today
  • Duplicate customer warning
  • Source tracked: website, Checkatrade, referral
New enquiry form: name, phone, postcode and what they want

Calendar for measuring and fitting

Book measuring visits and fittings, drag them to another day, and the customer is reminded. It warns you before you double-book anyone.

  • Customer visit reminders
  • Double-booking warning
  • Day’s visits in driving order

Your fitters on their phones

Fitters get today’s jobs, the job sheet and the plan, take photos and get the customer’s signature. They don’t see your prices.

  • Works without signal
  • Photos and signatures
  • Prices hidden from fitters

Invoices that chase themselves

Deposit and balance invoices come from the accepted quote. Reminders go out when they’re due and stop when they’re paid.

  • Owed and overdue at a glance
  • Automatic reminders
  • Record bank or cash payments

Questions

Flooring business software: questions people ask

Is this a CRM?

It does the CRM part (customers, enquiries, call-backs and history) but built around flooring jobs, so the same record goes on to measuring, quoting, ordering, fitting and invoicing.

Can my team use it?

Yes. Give each person a role: owner, office, estimator or fitter. Fitters see their jobs but not your prices. The Shop plan includes a team; the Sole trader plan can add a teammate.

Does it connect to my accounts software?

Not yet. Invoices are PDFs you can download or send, and you record bank or cash payments against them in the app.

How much does it cost?

Plans start at £49 a month for a sole trader and £199 a month for a shop with a team, with a 7-day free trial and no card needed. Card payments from customers go through Stripe, so Stripe’s fees apply; bank transfers are free.
